Saylyt ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Personal Information

• Account Data: Name, email address, profile photo, and user ID when you register via Firebase Authentication.
• Profile Information: Bio, username, display name, and any other information you add to your profile.

2.2 Content Data

• Messages: Text, images, voice notes, and files sent through our messaging system.
• Posts & Stories: Text, images, and videos you share in your feed or stories.
• Study Materials: Flashcards, quiz responses, notes, and learning progress.
• Media: All images, videos, and audio recordings are uploaded to Cloudinary for storage and delivery.

2.3 Communication Data

• Call Records: Voice and video call metadata (participants, duration, timestamps) via Firestore. Actual call media is peer-to-peer through Agora RTC and is not recorded.
• Notification Data: Device tokens for push notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging.

2.4 Location Data

We collect approximate location data only when you use location-based features such as the Food Finder and Weather screens. Location data is never collected in the background.

5. Data Storage & Security

• Your data is stored securely on Firebase's cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform).
• Media files are stored on Cloudinary with secure delivery via HTTPS.
• We use Firebase Authentication with email/password and Google sign-in.
• Isar database is used locally on your device for fast offline access to cached data.
• We implement Firestore security rules to restrict access to authorized users only.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is removed from our servers within 30 days. Media files stored on Cloudinary are deleted upon account deletion.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
